The Mormon church has set it’s sights on fleecing the bank accounts of people in third world countries by claiming tithes break the cycle of poverty. Religious hucksters lining their pockets with the money of dumb, rich Americans is bad enough, but now they are targeting the worlds most poor. The Mormons even preached that black skin was a curse, until they recently figured out there was a whole continent of dark-skinned people to rip off.
President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Russell Marion Nelson, just traveled to Kenya to give a speech to 2000 converts, many of whom traveled hours to hear him. He railed against their tradition of giving a dowry in marriage -- because, he said, instead of that money staying within a family; instead of it staying within their community; instead of it staying within their nation, it should, of course, go to his church in America. That will surely break the cycle of poverty in Kenya.
He said, “The Lord’s way is to be married in the temple, for time and all eternity, with your children sealed to you.” (With that marriage comes a hefty donation to the Mormon temple, of course.)
Yes, there’s more. Nelson added:
“We preach tithing to the poor people of the world because the poor people of the world have had cycles of poverty… That same poverty continues from one generation to another, until people pay their tithing.”
Of course, they don’t yet HAVE a temple in Kenya to pay giant marriage fees at, but if they give and give and give they just might be blessed with one. Maybe. We’ll see. “I don’t know how long it will take to build that temple… But let’s have a little contest: See if you can build your lives to be ready and your ancestral documentation to be ready for when the temple comes,” suggested Nelson.
Sure, man. Sure it’s coming. I’m sure NONE of that tax-free church money supports the Mormon mission of political power. With all their claims of morality, the Mormons are just more false profits seeking profit.
