Mueller’s 'witch hunt' may have just turned up the Russian witch he's been after

Trump loves to bluster about the uselessness of Mueller’s “WITCH HUNT,” meanwhile, Mueller is busy getting indictments.

Trump has been complaining for the last year that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation was nothing but a “witch hunt.” Well, Trump, it looks like Mueller may have found a witch.

According to a new court filing, Rick Gates, Trump’s top campaign aide, was in contact with a former Russian intelligence agent in the months leading up to the 2016 election, and Gates was fully aware of the Russian’s background. Gates served as Trump’s deputy campaign chairman, and then as the campaign’s liaison to the Republican National Committee.

While Trump is tweeting:

“The Mueller probe should never have been started in that there was no collusion and there was no crime. It was based on fraudulent activities and a Fake Dossier paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC, and improperly used in FISA COURT for surveillance of my campaign. WITCH HUNT!”

Mueller is busy getting 14 indictments and 5 guilty pleas from people like Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, and at least 13 Russians that worked to get him elected. Manafort was business partners with Gates, who has already pleaded guilty to money laundering.

For such an unnecessary hunt, Mueller’s investigation seems to be finding an awful lot of guilty witches.
