BUSTED: Fox intentionally misrepresented image of NFL players kneeling in PRAYER

Of course they tried to pretend players were "protesting." But this was no innocent mistake. It's FAKE NEWS at its BEST.

Fox News was busted for spreading their customary lies when Zach Ertz of the Philadelphia Eagles called bullshit on the network’s attempt to use photos of players kneeling in prayer as footage of players “taking the knee.” Ertz called the attempt “propaganda,” and Fox News did actually apologize for using the footage in their broadcast about the revoked Super Bowl visit at the White House.

During the segment, Fox showed several photos of the tight end and his other teammates kneeling, claiming the pictures showed Eagles players participating in the ongoing protests against police brutality, However, Ertz set the record straight on Twitter, “This can’t be serious...Praying before games with my teammates, well before the anthem, is being used for your propaganda?! Just sad. I feel like you guys should have to be better than this.”

After the tweet garnered 33k retweets in just 6 hours, Fox News apologized for the segment:

“During our report about President Trump canceling the Philadelphia Eagles’ trip to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win, we showed unrelated footage of players kneeling in prayer. To clarify, no members of the team knelt in protest during the national anthem through the regular or postseason last year. We apologize for the error.”

The Super Bowl winning team’s trip to the White House was canceled the day before it was to take place. Trump threw a little tantrum because the great majority of [Eagles] players” didn’t want to meet with him and had opted out of the visit. So, he un-invited the team and issued a statement about the great party he was going to have without them.
