Two friends get together and after a couple of drinks the pair engage in a grappling contest to prove who is the better man on the ground.
Unfortunately, this friendly grappling match amongst two friends, in what appears to be a living room, ended in a horrifying arm break as you can both see and hear in the above video.
The brutal arm break resulted in a rather serious surgery as you can see in the photo below:
Thankfully we can report that the victim of this terrible arm break has made a full recovery.
Leave it to the professionals guys.
Of course even in professional fighting we have seen some brutal arm breaks. None more eyebrow raising than Frank Mir’s submission victory over Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 140 in December of 2011.
After taking some rather serious damage in the stand-up game, Frank Mir was able to get on top of “Big Nog” and secure a nasty kimura arm lock.
When Nogueira refused to tapout, Mir promptly cranked the submission which resulted in one of the worst in cage injuries in UFC history.
It wasn’t the first time that Frank Mir had broken a limb while fighting in the UFC octagon. The submission specialist broke Tim Sylvia’s forearm with an armbar to claim the UFC heavyweight championship way back at UFC 48 in June of 2004.
