Product Update - Community Features for Everyone
Our work to integrate “best in class” technology from HubPages and Say Media continues to bear fruit. Maven community features will soon be available to partners using Maven’s enterprise publishing platform, and recently debuted live. To see it in action, go here and choose any story, then click the “Comments” button at the end of the story.
The rich toolset of Maven community is available: users can reply, “like”, @mention other users, DM, or even start their own topical threads. They’ll be notified of replies to their comments, and can even elect to be notified of new stories you post, all of which drives higher engagement and repeat visits to your site.
Rollout of New Maven Editing Tool
Our first post-merger integration project, bringing a powerful editor to all Maven users, is ready to roll out more broadly after successful testing. If you'd like to be an early adopter, we’ve created a signup form for you here in the MavenToMaven room.
Maven of the Week - The Shoe Game
Powered by sneakerheads Gerard Smith and Calvin Hill, The Shoe Game has been documenting the footwear culture since 2006. TSG provides a hub for thought-provoking discussions on the latest sneaker releases and celebrity wear. Their popular What Did You Wear Today thread is a great example of Maven community engagement and helps their audience keep a pulse on what's hot.
Improvement of the Week - User Profiles
User profile cards are now accessible by just clicking their avatar within the story stream, you no longer have to click the story or post first.
Thank you for being a Maven.
