Upgrade User Interface for Maven Community

New and improved design for Maven Community publishers.

Good news - in early February, your channels will be moving to a new, improved design! Examples can be seen here:

Improvements include:

New Header Image Dimensions: You now have the option to include a header image on your channel home page. If you would like to include a header image, the desktop specs are 1000x70 and the mobile specs are 400x90, in .svg or .png format. In most cases, this requires a header redesign. Channels will also have the option of not using a header image, and instead would display the channel display name at the top of the site. You channel name will be the default if header images are not provided to support. Please send all assets to pubsupport@maven.io.

If you do not want to include a header image, no action is required on your part.

Number of Rooms in Top Nav: Three rooms will now be featured in the top navigation. All other rooms will live in the menu in the upper left corner of the page. Room order can be adjusted in room settings using a “weight” feature - the lower the number, the closer to Top Stories the room will appear.

On mobile, all rooms will live in the menu in the upper left hand corner of the page.

Changes to OnePlusTwo/OnePlusOne Top Stories: The new theme does not support the OnePlusTwo or OnePlusOne Top stories options. Channels that choose to slot Top Stories can add one large hero image with up to three additional stories appearing as tiles overlaid on the hero image. See Mile High Huddle for reference.

Please reach out to Publishers Services or pubsupport@maven.io if you have any questions.
