Announcement: SFL Acquires Learn Liberty from the Institute for Humane Studies

Learn Liberty is a video channel that addresses questions about how individuals can improve the world.

We are excited to announce this acquisition, which will help us reach millions of college students online as an important step toward growing our international presence around the world.

The Institute for Humane Studies is a community of students, partners, and academics throughout the country who are committed to promoting a free and open society by challenging and further developing classical liberal ideas. IHS instills the core values of higher education, including the free exchange of ideas, critical inquiry, and the principles of academic freedom.

Learn Liberty is a video channel that addresses questions about humanity and how individuals can improve the world. The educational videos feature experts in different fields, who discuss ideas in a conversational, and actionable way.

CEO of Students For Liberty, Dr. Wolf von Laer, notes:

Learn Liberty provides an exciting opportunity for Students For Liberty and specifically, SFL Academy, our online learning platform. The additional capabilities will strengthen our work at home and abroad, and this acquisition supports our plans to use digital media to meet the increasing demand for our education and training services."

Although SFL will maintain Learn Liberty’s brand, website, Facebook, and YouTube channel, the platform will be pivoting into a new path that will allow for innovative content to serve SFL's growing global followers.
