Dan Raley, who has covered the Washington Huskies for three decades, is now reaching larger audiences via Huskymaven.io. His current daily football reporting through exclusive access interviews, game analysis, news and video will expand to Washington’s basketball team starting later this year.
The majority of Raley’s 30 years covering Seattle sports was at Seattle Post-Intelligencer until the newspaper folded in 2009. During his tenure there, he covered Washington football and basketball, including the Huskies’ 1991 co-national champion football team. He also wrote about several other professional and college teams, including the Mariners and Seahawks. He covered more than 40 major sporting events, including the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, the Major League Baseball playoffs, as well as several golf majors.
During past 15 years, Raley covered UW football and basketball and the Seahawks for Athlon magazines. His work appears in multiple sporting magazines and websites, including MLB.com, ESPN.com and MSNBC.com.
