Breaking: Brian Kemp Steps Down as Secretary of State in Georgia

He will work full time on his gubernatorial transition.

Having won the Georgia Governor's race, but recognizing there are concerns about him sitting on the state elections…

There are still provisional ballots that have to be counted in Georgia and the Georgia Elections Board will have to either intervene or certify the results. Kemp could not sit on the board as it is a conflict of interest and he has decided to resign and focus on his transition.
