Denali was a mother...

Mark Pattison

Although, it is not as tall as Everest, it was minus 25 degrees in our tent each night and were pinned down at 14,200' because there was an ugly lenticular cloud that would move off the summit which temperatures hovered around minus 60 degrees. We waited over 5 days of 14K camp and finally made the call to come back on another day when the weather improved.

Although I will be returning next May to attempt again, Mother Nature won this round and we made the right call to not force it and lose our fingers and toes and come back on another day when conditions are favorable.
